Air
The Female Buddha of the air element is "Samaya Tara" in Sanskrit, and the Sanskrit seed syllable for this element is "YAM." This energy is connected with the North. and the energy center it is related to is the belly, the seat of buddha-activities. In Vajrayana Buddhism, this is the Karma Family; karma means "activity." The passion connected with this energy is jealousy, pain caused by a yearning to have or do things that we don't possess or embody. The wisdom quality is the "wisdom of complete accomplishment" that recognizes this yearning as not a lack, but the manifestation of a continually unfolding state of discovery.
