Mandala of the Elements
The diagram below illustrates the corresponding qualities of the five elements according to this ancient tradition. As such, it claims no exclusivity, as other parallel systems like that of Chinese Medicine or the First Nation Medicine Wheel have integrity according to their own systems of colors and correspondences. The mandala is symbolic of the entirety of human experience: both inner and outer experiences are encoded into its form. As such, it is a tool that has the capacity to create coherence within the constant flux of various phenomena.
