Tea Poem: Dance of the Five Elements

Windy one
you shed a sheer misty dress,
blow into view;
your swaying lights
the northern sky.

Your sigh
ignites
the sandalwood boughs
of my bones.
Cradling
earth of my hearth
you fly with fanned flames.

This water
I bring from east to center.
It dances with you,
bubbles of you in my heart
rising
tracing the edge of space
merging back into your chest

the tea is done,
the taste of your mouth here
as you leave.
